very fine quality french ormolu glass-sided clock with visible escapement
and mercury and ormolu pendulum. The dial signed by the retailer 'Howell
James & Co, Paris' - jewellers and silversmiths of Regent St. London,
they exhibited in the Great Exhibition of London and in Paris during the
late 19th century.
